A Shane Prince hat trick powered the 67's to a big 5-2 victory Friday to take a 3-2 lead in their first-round series over the Belleville Bulls, but they may have lost another leader in the process.
With captain Marc Zanetti serving the fourth of a five-game suspension for a pre-game spear in Game 2, the 67's had to do without alternate captain Dalton Smith after the power forward was ejected in the first period for a crushing check on Bulls sniper Daniil Zharkov.

Shane Prince's hat trick was too much for the Belleville Bulls
By Josh Sweetland
OTTAWA, ON - Although they staked themselves to a rare lead early on in the game, the Belleville Bulls saw another opportunity to win at the J. Benson Cartage Centre slip away on Friday night. Game five of an eventful opening round tilt between a pair of East Division rivals was broadcast live on national television as part of Sportsnet's Friday Night Hockey series. Unfortunately for the Bulls, Ottawa's big shooters saved their best for the big stage as Shane Prince and Sean Monahan led their high powered offence to a 3-2 series lead coming back to Belleville on Monday.
